welcome to amalorpavam family

“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.”

— Psalm 126:3

Standing at the threshold of this monumental milestone, I am profoundly elated to witness the remarkable fruition of a vision sown four decades ago. Amalorpavam, now a thriving network of institutions, has steadfastly dedicated itself to the nurturing of young minds, instilling within them a fervent passion for learning and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

The odyssey of Amalorpavam has been nothing short of miraculous. Over the past 40 years, we have weathered innumerable challenges, embodying the essence of our cherished motto: “Perseverancia Vincit Omnia” (Perseverance Conquers Everything). Our journey, though arduous, has led us to the summit of educational prominence, where discipline and rigor have been the cornerstones of our success. Yet, even as we bask in the glory of our accomplishments, we remain acutely aware of the need to maintain our high standards in a world where competition is relentless.

Known for my uncompromising discipline, I have always envisioned my students as individuals of resilience, who confront life’s adversities with fortitude and steadfast determination. It has been my mission to guide those who stray, bringing them back to the path of reality, and empowering them to face the future with optimism and confidence. Today, I take immense pride in seeing my students dispersed across the globe, embodying the values we have imparted, and contributing meaningfully to society.
Reflecting on my 54 years of service as a teacher and administrator, I am filled with a sense of fulfilment and nobility. The grace bestowed upon me by the Lord Almighty, through my Patron Saint Mother Mary, has been my constant companion throughout this journey. My early years as an educator in local schools, Kendriya Vidyalaya, JIPMER campus, and Aravankadu, coupled with my 40 years as the Founder, Principal, and Administrator of Amalorpavam Higher Secondary School, have been profoundly enriching experiences.
Amalorpavam Group of Institutions began its journey in 1984 with the establishment of Amalorpavam Higher Secondary School, setting a high standard for quality education in Puducherry. In 2005, Amalorpavam Lourds Academy was introduced, offering a Central Board of Secondary Education curriculum. The group continued to grow with the founding of Amalorpavam Early Childhood School in 2022, focusing on foundational education for young children. In 2023, Amalorpavam School of Sports was launched to nurture national and international-level champions, and Amalorpavam Champions Institute was established to provide specialized training for competitive exams like NEET and JEE.

I am deeply indebted to my staff, brothers, and sisters, the unsung pillars of today, who have tirelessly borne the weight of responsibility with unwavering dedication. Their yeoman service to the young buds of the past, the present and the future generations has ensured that the legacy I began continues to thrive. Together, we have not only shaped the character but also honed the skills and abilities of our students, both physically and morally.

The beginnings were indeed daunting, with the challenges often seeming insurmountable as I stood alone in my endeavour. However, today, it is with immense satisfaction that I observe the growth of our Amalorpavam family, which has now branched out, forming a robust tree that stands tall facing the future with hope and determination. The vision that once seemed distant is now a reality, and our collective success stands as a testament to our shared commitment.

As we celebrate this Ruby Jubilee, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the students and the staff whose dedicated and coordinated efforts have made these 40 years of service so memorable. Let us continue to strive for excellence, ensuring that Amalorpavam remains a beacon of educational brilliance for generations to come.

Mother Mary walks at our side, she shares our struggles, and she constantly surrounds us with God’s love.”

God bless one and all!
