Education should be skill based rather than knowledge based so that it will be easy for all students to study faster and understand better. In the present scenario, skill based education is not a choice but the need of the hour where the demand for skilled professionals is very high and the desire to get skilled is low.
Understanding the need to promote the skill among the school students, the school has introduced Skill education for classes V to IX and it has found satisfactory results among the students. The students of class V may choose from Vegetable and Fruit Carving, Micro art (Chalk art), Rangoli and Floral Carving, Craft from Waste. Students of class VI to VII can choose from Creative Art / Sculpture / Tailoring / Micro Art (Chalk art) Craft from waste. Students of class XI can choose from Agriculture / photography and robotics. The tenure of the courses is for a period of two years and experts in various fields are appointed to handle the classes in an effective manner. Field Visits are organized to give practical knowledge to the students.

Here students learn the art of chalk piece carving They make wonderful eye-catching pieces of art using chalk pieces. Chalk carving is the practice and shaping of chalk via carving. The Art of Chalk carving trains students to develop patience, sense of beauty, learning to handle things with delicacy, sense of hardwork and patience for success. Our school students also hold a world record in carving maximum number of name of the patriots carved in a stipulated time.
The students learn the art of flower arrangement and the beauty inside our traditional Rangoli art. Rangoli does not necessarily imply patterns, our children use it to carry social messages to the society. The main purpose of Rangoli & Floral Art is decoration. Traditionally it’s thought to bring good luck although Rangoli takes on many forms. Students learn an attachment to Indian Cultural and traditional practices of India by practicing this art. The students are trained by experts renowned professionals from the art-field.
It prevents the waste of potentially useful materials and reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials, reducing energy use, air pollution (from incineration) and water pollution (from land filling).Students are usually taught to segregate their waste materials and learn fun ideas and this Art develops students’ sense of cleanliness, perfectly maintaining and keeping the place safe and neat in and around the area they live in. Preparation of Eco-friendly product out of waste material forms an important part of Eco club. Many programmes and projects are formed and combined together to make a frame work of our school Eco club.
