6 AMALORPAVAM STUDENTS TO COMPETE IN NATIONALS

The Students of Amalorpavam Hr. Sec. School, Puducherry have competed in State Level Kala Utsav 2020 competitions conducted by JawaharBalBhavan, Puducherry under the directions of SamagraSiksha, Directorate for School Education. Due to Covid-19 pandemic this year the competition was held online where the performances of the students were submitted to the department.

Kala Utsavis an initiative of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) to promote arts in education by nurturing and showcasing the artistic talent of school students.

Amalorpavam Higher Secondary School students Miss SRAVANTI .M of Std. XII in Vocal Music – Traditional Folk (Female), Master DEVAPRASATH of Std. XII in Instrumental Music – Classical (Male), Miss HARINI .P of Std. XII in Instrumental Music – Classical (Female), Miss PUSHPITAA .M of Std. XII in Visual Arts – 3 Dimensional (Female), Master SANTHAROOPAN .J of Std. XI in Visual Arts – 3 Dimensional (Male) and Master AVINASH .A of Std. X in Visual Arts – 2 Dimensional (Male) category have won in Puducherry Regional Level Kala Utsavcompetition held on 16.12.2020 and after qualifying in District Level Competition held on 11.12.2020.  They will be participating in National Level Online Kala Utsav 2020 Competitions in the month of January 2021.

The Senior Principal Thiru S.A. Lourdusamy has appreciated the marvelous efforts and success of the students in District and Regional Level and blessed the students for the National Level Competitions.
